Thanksgiving is around the corner and another year of Black Friday is around the corner, too. For the uninformed out there, Black Friday is the day after thanksgiving where almost all stores switch into a sale mode, and usually introduce a lot of rebates to make up good deals. The catch is most of the deals are so called early bird deals, which means you have got to get up early and rush to the store.
It requires time and effort to find out the best deals on that early and cold November morning. You need to decide on what you will buy before hand and make an attack plan depending on the proximity of the stores. You can’t expect a great deal to last on the busiest retail shopping day of the year.
I usually follow Black Friday Ads every year as they get hold of the store fliers and deals weeks before and post on the site. In addition to that site, I just found out (via Digg) the so called DealsPlus Black Friday site which seems to better since it is very organized and it is possible to search for specific items in the store of your interest. I think this once again shows that getting hold of information on is very important but presenting that information is equally (or even more) important. I am sure I will be visiting the DealsPlus site very often until the 25th of November.
