Manda and the Marbles is now an old favorite of mine. They are a new wave/punk/power pop group from Columbus, Ohio. But the sad news is that they may not be together anymore. They don’t seem to be doing new shows and putting out new songs. Nevertheless, they were (are) a great band with very energetic power pop songs.
They are on Myspace with more songs. They also have some mp3’s available here.
My Tune of the Week from Manda and the Marbles this week is one of my favorite songs on their Angels with Dirty Faces album Kids Just Wanna Dance. Enjoy.

Hi there – glad to find another Marbles fan!
I have good news – although this has been a slow period, MATM are still a functioning band and they’re working on songs and making plans for the future. After Go-Kart took down the old message board we were without a board for a while, but we now have a new MATM message board up and running.
