Technorati Gets Smarter (Blog Search Feeds)

Steve Rubel reports that Technorati now has Smarter Blog Search Feeds. Basically anyone can create URL and tag searches and subscribe to the RSS feeds of those. I think the smartness comes from the “authority” setting for those search feeds. You can restrict your search with the blogs with certain level of authority. I don’t know what the measure for authority is.

This may be cool but I seriously think that Technorati should get the basic blog tracking features perfectly right before it can grab my attention with extra features. I constantly ping Technorati (atuomatically and sometimes even manually) but it says that my blog was last updated 151 days ago.

So, Technorati, can you see this post now?
