The Smackdown Learning Model

The smackdown model of learning makes a lot of sense to me. My favourite part: "And the more intense the smackdown (i.e. the hear/fight of the opposing views) the more likely it is that the learner will feel something. And remember, we learn and remember that which we feel, not that which we merely hear or read".
